a person who is utterly intolerant of any differing creed, belief, or opinion.

Now that we have defined the word, maybe we should seriously consider its application.

It’s amazing how many times, when we are sharing our message on the street,  someone will intially show some interest in what we have to say. That is, until they have any suspiscion that we might be “religious” or, worse still, Chrisitian.

The extremely ironic (dare we say hypocritical?) thing is that these are often the same people who want to lecture us on how to be tolerant or accepting of people of differing views!

We are quite willing to hear people share their views with us, and we have the right to respectfully disgree or even challenge the finer points of their conclusions.
